Im 18. I barely graduated from high school, I was a virgin until I did it for the first time on the 26th of may. I have a period tracker on my phone and it says I was ovulating on that day. We had used a condom, but he "came" inside and pulled out right after. I haven't really had any signs or symptoms yet. My period is very late and I'm really starting to freak out. The guy I had sex with wasnt my boyfriend. He was like a guy best friend that I felt very comfortable around and some what had a crush on. How should I tell him? How should I tell my parents... Not only them but my whole family is going to freak out. Is it possible to be pregnant? I'm going to take a test as soon as I get some days off of work and hope and pray for the best. I had stopped taking my birth control about a month before I had sex.. Idk if this all matters but if someone can inform me a bit more, that would be so helpful. Especially since I haven't told anyone except for 2 people. They keep saying "ahh your not pregnant" but I have a feeling that I am. It's a strange feeling that makes me really sad, confused and scared. I dont know what I would do if my test came up positive.. I never believed in abortion but I found myself researching it a bit. My life would change jurastically if I do keep it, I know it gets very difficult to continue my education and I'm afraid of adoption because I would carry this gift for 9 months And then just give it up? I don't think that would be so easy for me. I feel so lost and helpless.

Once you stop your pills, your body will have to start its cycles again. It is likely to be different from the pill cycles, as well as from your cycles before the pill. So it may take a few months for your app to catch up with your new cycles. Just keep on putting your data in.

There is really no risk if the condom did not break or slip off. One of you should always check the condom after he takes it off to make sure it is still intact.

Your first step is to stop freaking out. There is no reason to freak out. You can take a pregnancy test now to make sure and put your mind at ease. Do another test 7 days later to confirm the results. Make sure you follow the instructions exactly.

If you are planning to stay sexually active, consider going back on the pill and using condoms. That is by far the most safe combination until you meet the guy you want to start a family with.

Until you can confirm you are pregnant, there is not really anything to tell your family or your friend. You do not have to decide about keeping the baby or giving it up for adoption, or even consider adoption.

After the tests, you can decide what to do.

Best of luck!
