I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend a week before I started my period. I had my period June 21 and finished June 27 had unprotected sex again and I got my period on July 4th and lasted till the 10th I've been cramping ever sence I have to urine frequently and to start off with I don't drink a lot of water I have really bad mood swings which has been causing problems between me and my partner I gained like 4 pounds and I sleep like I haven't slept in days I wake up and Im just as tired and I want to go back to sleep and I've been craving food but then I get disgusted and nauseas. I took 2 HPT and they both were negative Im supposed to be getting my period on the 21 which will be my 3d period in a month and a week. If anyone had something similar or went through this can you please let me know what it can be
Welcome to the forum. I am really glad to help you out. The normal menstrual cycle length is 28 days but can vary from 21 days to 35 days and this is considered to be normal. Frequent menses (cycle less than 21 days) can occur due to pelvic inflammatory disease, sexually transmitted disease, endometriosis, fibroids, cervical polyp, birth control pills, stress, exercise and hormonal imbalance.
Considering your other symptoms as well, you need to consult a gynecologist and get yourself thoroughly examined to diagnose the cause of irregular periods and start with the treatment. you may need to get certain investigations like ultrasound uterus, serum HCG test for pregnancy and hormonal panel done.
im having the exact same problem as you! im ment to have started my period on the 18th of july. It hasn't started to hopefully it will start this monday coming. But im not getting the symptoms you are getting my stomach is very sensitive cant have anything tight over it i have been feeling sick. and i took a pregnancy test as well and it came out negative. I do take the pill but im very forgetful. but luck enough i am glad that my home pregnancy test came out negative. So yeah i would go to the doctors to get a check up if you are feeling the symptoms of pregnancy.
yeah its super weird I already went to the doctors and they did a urine test and it came out negative and then my doctor said its normal for a girl not to have her period for 6 months which i totally disagree have you heard anything like that before because to me that dosnt sound normal maybe if your on some kind of birth control maybe yeah but not have for 6 months just cuz it dosnt want to ..i dont know i kinda want to go get a blood PT

I've been having similar problems. My period started like normal feb23-26 then it came again Mar 11-14. Yes I am sexually active wit my boyfriend n it is unprotected. My periods are normally on time but if u count the first period I was suppose to start Mar 25 and if u count the second period I was suppose to start Apr 6. The first one is now 16 days late and the second is now 4 days late. I keep cramping like my cycle is starting but it still hasn't came. My nipples constantly itch n I'm tired and have to urine all the time. I took a home pregnancy test and it came out negative. What should I do? Should I go to the hospital and get blood work done?
