I have a daughter who has had her period constantly for the past year. She had intercourse in the last 2 weeks and is now complaining of very tender nipples. Can she be pregnant.

Am I Pregnant Answer A22923
Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum,
Regular periods are indicative that she has periodic ovulation (egg release from ovary). If the intercourse was unprotected, chances of pregnancy cannot be ruled out (if she was during her fertile days at time of intercourse). The symptom of tender nipples could be suggestive of early pregnancy symptoms. Look out for development of any other new symptoms suggestive of early pregnancy. Wait and watch for her periods.
Take care.
