I'm 19, first of all, I just had an appendectomy a few weeks ago, as well as an orange-sized ovarian cyst removed on the right side. I am still sick and the pain is about like before. Any ideas as to what it may be or whether or not I should go to the er? Thanks

Hello and welcome to e health forum.

After a major procedure like a ovarian cyst removal and appendectomy, the chances of complications like adhesions and infections might be present.

In case the pain is very severe, you might consult your regular doctor, who can examine you and order tests including a CT or a Ultrasound to determine the cause of the persisting symptoms.
