I have recently had a tubal ligation. I'm interested in doing a study using Medroxyprogesterone acetate. Is there any reason why I should not do it?

Welcome to ehealthforum.
Medroxyprogesterone acetate has been used in conjunction with other chemotherapy drugs to treat cancers like cancer of fallopian tubes. However its effect on tubal ligation is unclear. It does affect the mucous secretion of the entire reproductive tract.
Before you enroll for studies, discuss with your gynecologist about it and whether it is safe for you to go ahead with the study.
