H. Pylori would not directly cause those symptoms, so it's hard to say that what you're feeling is caused by H.Pylori.
The H.Pylori bacteria lives in your stomach lining and weakens the mucus layer that protects it from corrosion by your digestive acids. This will cause stomach ulcers. The pains you're feeling could be from the ulcer or acid reflux.
As you have had H.Pylori before, the chances of getting it again are pretty good, as the chances of it being eradicated completely from before are pretty slim. However, there may be other causes of peptic ulcers as well, like the prolongued of NSAID (non steroidal anti inflammatories) like Advil.
You can't check for bacteria using an xray. If you had a barium swallow xray, they're probably looking for ulcers. You can only check for h.pylori through blood, stool, breath or tissue samples.
