Q: Gynecological tests and polycystic ovarian syndrome

I'm not sure how this differs from the Explain current medical condition so I copied the problem here.

Is it normal to have to wear a panty liner every day, when I'm off my period, or my underwear will get an off white/yellowish stain on it? It'll also feel noticeably wet. It's not urine. Sometimes the discharge has a clear, mucous in it. I don't feel any itching or pain. I don't notice any strong smells. I don't have sex. But this happens every day. It's been happening ever since I first starting getting my period, about ten years ago.

Current medical status: Is it normal to have to wear a panty liner every day, when I'm off my period, or my underwear will get an off white/yellowish stain on it? It'll also feel noticeably wet. It's not urine. Sometimes the discharge has a clear, mucous in it. I don't feel any itching or pain. I don't notice any strong smells. I don't have sex. But this happens every day. Current medical treatment: Cymbalta and Lamictal for depression. Spironolactone for PCOS. Strattera for ADD.

According to the information you gave, you might want to see a gynecologist. He might want to take a vaginal swab and/or urine culture to confirm or rule out a bacterial or fungal infection that might be causing the discharge. If none is revealed, he might want to take laboratory tests to check for your hormone blood levels. They might be out of normal limits, and causing the discharge as well as the Polycystic ovarian syndrome. If the latter is the real cause, then adequate hormonal therapy might be recommended.
