I have what seems to be a blister on my gums above on of my teeth. I'm currently in the middle of an orthodontic renovation (braces, expander, the whole shebang), & the tooth that the blister has formed over is a loose baby tooth. It's really sore, so I tried piercing it with a sterile needle to drain it. Some whitish stuff came out, but it didn't do any good, and it still really hurts. Google keeps telling me that it's a gum boil, but I'm really hoping it's not, because google also said that I would have to have like a root canal or something to get rid of it. Of course the baby tooth is loose & scheduled to be pulled anyway, but it's still freaking me out. Any advice?
