Hi everyone, so I just noticed this "bubble" like growth on my left tonsil. it is a small circle, but it is hard. it does not hurt, and i do not have any other symptoms, i have no sore throat, no pain, nothing. I went to the doctor today and he said to go see an ENT to find out further what it could be, he said worse case it could be cancer, but I don't remember what kind because it was a long word and after i heard the word cancer i basically stopped listening. I am calling an ENT tomorrow but i want to know if anyone knows what this looks like, i attached a picture. look at my left (right in the picture) tonsil. I would just like some peace of mind because now i am really scared. thank you everyone.

Looks like you have some serious phlem, puss pocket, or something built up around the back of your throat and the back of your tounge. The grey areas look like fungus, bacteria, etc. Could be the pic, I don't know? The bump doesn't look too strange to me. Get things all cleaned up (tounge cleaner, salt water gargle, good anti bacteria mouth wash, etc..) and then take another pic. See if the bump goes away as well. Yes, see a doc for your own ease of mind ASAP but if the growth was dark in color I'd be more concerned.
