My father went through cholecystectomy 23 months ago. In the surgery he experienced a rupture in the small intestine from the gallbladder being too enlarged to have the laproscopic cholecystectomy. So, this brought on an emergency gastric bypass surgery which then he experienced an infection within the incision site. It took quite awhile for it to heal but now he has fully recovered, however he refuses to see a doctor after all that he been through with his symptoms now. He is now experiencing painless growling, like a hunger growl, in mid-abdomen section when this happens there is a soft lump (not hard) and occasionally happens about an hour before he is actually hungry. He is not experiencing heartburn or pain in the abdomen. This is the first time he has experienced this symptom. What could this be?
