Q: Growing rash

Since I had my daughter 7 months ago I have had a rash growing. It started the size of a pimple on the rear of my thigh adjacent to the groin, but it itched. It slowly grew to look like a patch of dry skin with an incredible itch, now it is the size of 2 quarters, and I just noticed a small spot on my other thigh. It is slightly elevated, especially around the perimeter, dry and darker colored. What is it?

Have you showed this rash to a dermatologist yet? I wonder if you are allergic to something you are using for your new baby.
