Q: Group B Strep around vaginal opening

I had some cultures taken for what I thought might be a vaginal infection and the results came back for Group B Strep. My vaginal opening is burning, even though I am told adults are usually symptom free. I am taking penicillin for the strep and using probiotic vaginal suppositories, but the exterior burning and itching is waking me up at night. Is there anything to treat this?

Strep B/ GBS miracle cure!!
I have been suffering with this for a long long time and had never been tested for strep b until I became pregnant. I had been tested for yeast and every other bacterial infection, but because they say strep b doesn't have symptoms they never tested for it, but I have found that there are lots of women who have symptoms with strep b. I am excited to report that a hydrogen/water solution mix used as a douche helps SO much!!

1 cup of distilled or filtered water
3 tablespoons of 3% hydrogen peroxide

you can type hydrogen/water solution in google and it will come up with many articles about how much this helps!! They will also give other advice on maintenance on how to keep it at bay because strep b can always come back. Since doing the douche with hydrogen/water solution I have not had any irritation, burning, itching since!! You can also use the solution on the outer area of your vagina and it will almost instantly help!! I've also tried bee propolis on the outer area and that helps a lot as well!
They say that women who get strep b need to work on their immune system. I'm currently taking Source Naturals: Wellness Formula. Hopefully this will help keep it from coming back, but I'll keep doing the douche every couple of weeks just to be sure.

Good luck!!
