Hi,

I'm a 22 year old male and today noticed a pain in my groin.

Its left and slightly below of where my penis starts and feels like a slight knock to the testicles. I had a feel around on both sides to compare and there is definitely a slight swelling on the left side. It feels like an inflamed tube.

I know its not a groin strain as ive had these in the past and its also not a constant pain. It occurs when walking or moving my left leg in general.

Recently I went to the doctor about a swelling behind my jaw bone and he told me that it is a lymph node and has sent me for a blood test, results have not come back yet. Having an A-level in human biology i'm aware that there is lymph nodes in the groin area so I was wondering whether this could be the problem.

Obviously going to the doctor and showing him my gonads isn't my idea of a swell day out so I thought I'd post here first.

Did a bit of quick research and im fairly certain it isn't a torsioned testicle (touch wood) as that seems a more acute/severe pain.

Any advice would be appreciated and if I've left anything out please ask.

Regards.
