Grinding for 10 years

I have been told that I grind my teeth in my sleep since I was in middle school. In the past 4 years I have had problems popping my jaw in and out while sleeping and throughout the day. I have done research, and I think that I have TMJ. I have set up a dentist appointment to get a custom night guard.

I have noticed that my teeth have become very sensitive to sweets like chocolate. I also have been getting small headaches that make it hard for me to do simple things such as read and talk to people without having to squint.

Will this mouthguard help these issues? Thanks!

Zach,
I highly recommend Rolfing or Craniosacral Therapy to help treat your TMJ syndrome. In regards to your tooth sensitivity, stay on course and see your dentist. I am an Advanced Certified Rolfer and have helped people with TMJ syndrome. Good luck.
