Q: Green bowel movements

I'm 46 & have not had any gall bladder problems. However, all the sudden my bowel movements have become more frequent, odorless, and green. It is a very distinct green. No doubt about it green. I'm concerned about it. Should I be? Should I call my pcp for an appointment?

I would like some intelligent direction as to whether or not I need to be overly worried.

Thank you for your time in this matter.

Actually, bowel movement can be affected by many thing and all colors of brown and green are considered normal! Usually the amount of bile getting through causes a green coloring. Here is a link that I think you will find very helpful: stool color

If you are still concerned, I wouldn't hesitate to give your doctor a call.
