Hi, ive just found out im five and a half weeks pregnant, i experienced a miscarriage in december so i would of concieved a month after the miscarriage, is there a greater risk of having another miscarriage, i am worrying constantly and every ache a pain is making me think it will happen again.. i also have a child who has just turned one

Hi, and thanks for your medical question on eHealth forum!

Well, a previous miscarriage does increase the chance of a subsequent one if the cause is repetitive. It would be best to consult your gynecologist regarding this and get tests like blood sugar, anemia, VDRL, TORCH, STD etc since. Hope this helps. Take care!
