Gray itchy bumps near anus seem to grow bigger...

I have these gray itchy bumps around my anus. I have already seen a doctor because i was worried it was warts. He said it looked like it was just some scarring that i probably got from scratching the area and several things can cause a rectum to be itchy. He said they are probably not warts since I have not had anal sex. Since then the itching has not stopped and the bumps seemed to grow bigger and there are more of them. Could the doctor be wrong and these are warts or is it something else? Please help
