dx with the beginnings of Pneumonia caught rales as I breathed and my lungs "sound aweful" says the PA. I was taking doxicycline before because of a cough and body aches, then 5 days later it was worse, and worse and I went to the Urgent Care saw the lady PA, and she said it very well could be Pneumonia, DID DO XRAYS. but was hesitent to mention that it was and said that I've got acute bronchitiis, she did a CBC and it was abnormal and did some other blood work (electrolytes aferwards, not sure) then a UA for detection of any infections. So she said I just needed bed rest and it's been two days I feel lousy I've been taking the initial doxicyline meds at 100mgs 2 times a day. tid the new meds Abx. erythromyocin something.... at 333 mg. 3X a day. Now, unfortunately I'm feeling like another Bartholin's Cyst is rearing it's ugly head. I remember the feeling and the pain, I am getting swollen and it is tender in the groin area where the barthololin's gland is specificially. Now, I start my new internship on Tues. I have had excellent attendance and straight A's all the way, in my medical school..... Could someone out there tell me how to get better fast? My concern is if there is an infection, (Bartholin's) that what is the use of the Abx?????? Won't I need more, I wish I could just go into the hospital and run an IV through me to get me well. Any suggestions.... TX KATEBATE
