Q: Grand mal seizures and ticks ?

i developed seizures in the 8th grade and they come and go, who knows when but i also have these ticks if im writing my arm will shoot out or all of a sudden i start gasping for air while my chest sticks out and my head goes back they only last for a few seconds but 25-30 times a day gets frustrating this morning i had a jerk while shaving and sliced my neck does any one happen to know what they are?

Most people that have these Jerks have Juvenile Myoclonic Epilepsy. It is missed a lot of times during diagnosis because on scans and eegs all looks norman. Sometimes they get abnormal brain activity during the sleep deprived part of the eeg and sometime during the photo sensitive testing.

I do not know about the gasping for air part but the Jerks and ticks sound like JME. Go see a Neurolgist.
