Q: gram negative bacilli bacteria

i was told by my doctor i have gram negative bacilli,he told me i had a pelvic imflamatory and gram negative bacilli bacteria is the cause of it.i am taking antibiotics but i have read that the bacteria is hard to kill with antibiotics.. does anyone have anymore info on this pls? is it dangerous? i have been off work for two weeks now.. feel tired all the time..
