Hi,

I am not a doctor, but maybe I can help. Uric acid is part of your body's metabolism process. High uric acid levels cause gout and even the fluxuation of this level can trigger gout. So if you have gout, you have to keep your uric acid levels normal. Maybe you could give me a little more information?

I also practice Karate 3 times a week. I have had NO attacks since. Since reading this site i no longer use cucumber either;-)
