Hello and thank you for posting your medical question on E health forum.
Goodpasture's disease is usually a monophasic illness that can be successfully treated in a large proportion of patients. Unfortunately, none of these treatments can reverse permanent kidney damage suffered from the syndrome. Relapses of the condition are usually rare. Regular monitoring with anti-glomerular basement membrane antibody (Anti-GBM) in the circulation would be helpful to monitor the condition.
The current symptoms of kidney pain (as described) and high urine protein needs to be evaluated further with blood tests to check the renal function tests and a renal ultrasound. Any findings can help to determine the further interventions.
For your information, urine proteinuria can occur with many conditions like urinary stones, nephrotic syndrome, systemic disorders, and also resulting from long standing hypertension.
You might consider to consult your treating doctor who after eliciting a complete history will do the necessary investigations and initiate specific therapy.
I hope this is helpful.
