OK my wife and I have been happily (magnanimous) married for 11 years

(trust me I would be skeptical also, but neither of us have cheated)

we have a a healthy 3 year old and have never had any problems or symptoms

well now, 11 weeks into our her pregnancy with twins and they said she tested positive for gonorrhea !!!!!!!!!!!!!

she had a clean pap smear this last march

I will be getting test and she is going back to see this doctor today

any idea how this can happen???

could I have had it for the last 13 years and just now gave it to her???

thanks - you are a god send today

Daddy, I'm sorry but I think there is only one why she could get gonorrhea and that is through you or somone else.

meblonde is right.
It's not like gonorrhea just jumps off a toilet seat like a mosquito.
She either got it from you or someone else.

Most women go in for annual cervical screening exams. At that time of their "yearly appointment" doctors automatically do the pap smear and test for chlamydia and gonorrhea. Other tests have to be asked for. She obviously didn't have gonorrhea when she had your first child because when you go into the doctor when you find out you are pregnant they automatically do the pap smear and test for chlamydia and gonorreah...it is mandatory whether or not she asked for it. As much as you believe she hasn't been with someone else......it had to have come from her or you and an outside partner.

sorry to say but she definetly picked it up off someone else. If you have it you will know you would have green smelly discharge coming out of your penis and it would be very painful to urinate and make love
