Hello all,

I'm attempting to learn more about how a Cortisone or Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) injection is performed. In this case it is to treat tendonitis in the elbow just above the joint (triceps level). Is the needle placed directly into the tendon? Near it? Or is it placed deeper, near the bone? I've tried unsuccessfully to find a diagram or written explanation of the process. The information I find is very general and usually just says the injection is done in the elbow. Any additional information on either injection, if different, would be greatly appreciated.
