Allergic reactions and swollen lymph glands
Posted: 07-04-08 09:12am

The gland on the left side of my neck got swollen all of the sudden, I must say I am perfectly healthy and exercise regularly, have excellent digestion, etc. The only thing I've done differently is that I drank some water that had been purified with some pills containing toluene sulphachloramide..Is it possible that this is some kind of allergic reaction to this substance?? I've stopped using it but just now so maybe it's too ealry to tell,. I know, but I just wanted to know if it is possible

Allergic reactions are not indicated by swollen lymph glands. Swollen lymph glands are usually due to infection. Rarely, it can be due to a tumor. If the swelling doesn’t disappear spontaneously in 2 weeks you may want to ask for medical attention.
