You are the best treatment
My girlfriend was the same way when I met her. She tried to hide things from me, but you can only do that for so long. What she really needed was to feel a sense of belonging. If she knows she has your full support and you give her a purpose in life, she can begin to deal with her problem. Therapy will make her upset, and I'm sure she can justify what she does in her own way. Make a point of telling and showing her how special she really is. Just out of curiousity, are her parents divorced?
