Ok here's the issue. She has endometriosis and has had it for a while. She went on the Lupron Depot shot (3 month dose) for several months. She recently (december 07) had Laproscopic surgery. That really didn't seem to help too much. While it's clearly not as bad as it was (she was waking up crying in pain) she has some other issues. We've been to several doctors and her new issue is now that she feels "heavy" and a crushing pain in her spine that she gets when she wakes up. Sometimes it goes away, sometimes it sticks around for the day. Her body just feels tierd and her head feels like it weights 1000 pounds.

She has recently gone to a neurologist and does have a follow up in May (ugh so far off) but we're looking to see if anyone has experience with this type of thing. We have even gone so far as to looking to see if she may have M.S and Lyme Disease which both have symptoms like what she is experiencing.

can anyone shed some light on this?

Thanks.

Hello Encisco,

I'm happy that she will be seeing a neurologist. May I suggest that she search for the very best spinal surgeon in your area and make an appontment with that doctor. It is always a good idea to get a second opinion.

A question - Has she had x-rauys taken? Also, has she had MRIs taken? If not, she definitely needs to request that the neurologist approve these for her in my opinion.

Thanks for the reply.

She has gotten an MRI taken and it was negative. Which is good and bad. Good because it's negative but bad because we're still searching for what this is. She also has retinal vein occlusion in her left eye that we are still finiding out how to cure that. Up until now we were told there's not much that can be done for that and it will "work itself out". But I'm afraid that it won't and she would become blind in that eye.

Thanks.
