Q: Getting pregnant with short period

My husband and I (both 35)are trying to get pregnant (been trying for just over a year now) with no success. I have always had pretty heavy periods lasting between 4 and 5 days. Since I had my son (he's just turned 2) my periods have been only 2 days. Does that indicate a problem with things? Or is it ok to have a really short period? I'm worried that the lining isn't building up properly or something! I had a c-section with all three of my previous children as well as a laparoscopy before getting pregnant the first time. We also had a miscarriage with a D&C in May of 06. I am ovulating according to the ovulation kits and my temperature. Any ideas?

When you have children it takes a lot out of your body and somtimes you periods do become abnormal and take a while to adjust, you have 3 kids already and you know some people try for up to 10 years before getting pregnant, its a matter of patience as I certainly don't think there is a problem , try folic acid and a general healthy life style and don't focus sooo hard on getting pregnant , let nature take its course, good luck x
