i will be 42 this year and with all of the
hollywood women getting pregnant it makes
it seem as easy a if they were in their
20's.
My situation is this: I have child who's
11--i waited until I got married--now that
her father and I have been divorced or
almost 5 years, I met a wonderful man whom
I would love to have a child with - he
feels the same way, however we are both
older. What can I do to possibly get
pregnant without injection/ or medical
involvement. I don't have finances to
support this dream unfortunately.

Dear fatima66,
My accountant got pregnant at the age of
43 and now is raising a wonderful babyboy.
She was afraid of the late pregnancy and
went to consult a doctor before
conceiving. The doctor perscribed her
follic acid, vitamin D, calmness and lot
of sex. I am sure that at the age of 42
you do not have any menopause symptoms so
there`s nothing to be afraid of. If you
take vitamin D you`ll have to be careful
with the overdosage since ot does have
side efffects. However your doctor will
will perscribe you the appropriate
vitamins and I believe you will have a
wonderful baby with the simple
pre-pregnancy doctor check and without
spending lots of cash. I have read lots of
materials prooving that children born form
elderly parents are more intelligent and
clever.
So don`t worry and go ahead. At the age of
42 you are not old at all, just the
conrary - you`re wiser and able to raise
and take good care of a healthy baby.

P.S. Just to add - after getting pregnant
my accountat worked very hard till the end
of the 8th month of her pregnancy. She
spent at least 8 hours at the office,
moved a lot because of the parking problem
around her office building and now she`s
preparing her one year son to become an
accountant too
