Q: Getting pregnant after a miscarriage

Hello,

Last August I had a miscarriage at around 5 weeks (my first pregnancy). My Dr. told me that she recommended that I wait at 3 months to let my body heal from the miscarrige before my husband and I started to try to get pregnant again. We waited the 3 months and after being on birth control for about 8 years I have come to realize what my normal period cycles are like. They are around 32 to 33 days. My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant since Nov. 2008 and nothing yet. I am getting a little discouraged and down just from the emotional ups and downs and the constant reminder every month that I am not pregnant again! Can you please help ease my mind and tell me how long it usually takes to get pregnant after a miscarriage and any tips for conceiving faster?

Thank you
