Hi everyone, I just disocerved yesterday that i have HPV - three small genital warts, one on my tale bone and the other two right on my anus. I have opted for the Aldara cream which i started using yesterday and its bruns a little. Anyway my question is does anyone know how soon the itching will stop and how soon the warts will start to dispear? I understand the warts can disapear and the virus may still be there but i am just curious to know when the awful discomfort will stop and when ill start to see some results.
Another quick question i had, do you know if its okay to continue using stand up sunbeds with them? will this irritate them?

I hate having this its so awful, its certainly opened up my eyes to safe sex!! I never want to have sex again...LOL

It takes awhile for the itching to stop. I found out I had them when I was pregnant, so I couldn't treat them until after I gave birth (which was SO much fun, let me tell you). But you will ALWAYS have the HPV virus, there's no getting rid of it now. Since the warts are small, the Aldara cream should clear them up pretty quick. It took less than three weeks for mine to completely disappear (I had quite a few of them, but they were pretty small). It burned the first two times I used it, but after that you really don't notice it.
