i have been diagnosed with hpv and i have rescently had the one on my vagina frozen and the few on my anus were treated with aldara cream,
now my treatment is over and virtually gone i am growing more concerned about the cirvical cancer risk im only 18 and dont have smear test yet.
also since i was diagnosed i really dont want to spread the virus im embarrassed that my new boyfriend wont understand, i really dont want it to come back how can i prevent them again apart from using condoms?

thank you Smile

Extremely eHealthy
Have you been examined for internal (cervical and urethral) lesions?

Such internal lesions have been found in more than half of females with external lesions.
More than 50% of female patients with external lesions have negative Papanicolaou test (Pap smear) results, but, smear follow-up is necessary.
The use of condoms during vaginal and anal intercourse reduces the risk of genital warts, but only protects those areas in contact with the condom.
