Q: Genital tumors and pelvic discomfort
asked by: DoctorQuestion on August 1st, 2008
I have a large lump between my vagina and my anus. I can rule out that it isn't a cyst. I noticed it over a month ago and it's been getting larger... it hasn't drained or anything, it's simply a hard lump under the skin. There is a small red lump sticking out from my anus as well. Also, now I feel like I have pressure in my pelvis. Like when I laugh or something, I feel something out of the norm. My last cycle was extremely light. (abnormal) I've got a bunch of little things going on, It's kinda freaking me out. My mind tends to go to the worst possible outcome... hopefully I don't have a tumor.

Every “hard lump under the skin” is generally considered to be a tumor until a precise diagnosis is established. The same statement stands for the “small red lump sticking out from your anus”, too. It doesn’t seem likely to me that either of the “tumors” found in your genital area, is somehow related to the pelvic discomfort and abnormal cycle.

You may want to consult a gynecologist about your condition.
