There is no scientific basis for the piercings to help with sex, though many people find them attractive like say... a man finds a woman's make up attractive. Belly rings, clitoral piercings, earings, and things like anklets, bracelets, and other "bling bling" are adornments which enhanse one's beauty in the eyes of some of both sexes. Men and women find different things erotic, and you probably got the piercing because it makes you "feel erotic," so there is probably some psychological improvement in your mental attitudes about sex with the piercing, but no real physical/medical reason for sex to get better. Some will say they really do have better sex because of piercings, but it's likely a placebo effect. I don't think anyone will ever do a real study to find out for sure. Dr. C
