Genital pain on urination Posted: 03-17-08 10:25am
i feel a burning pain in the skin of my
scrotum on my left hand side. it is at its
most painfull after consuming alcohol but
i have not drank alcohol for 3 weeks yet i
can still feel the pain. when i urinate
there seems to be a momentary relief and
after i ejaculate it seems to relieve the
level of pain for a short while so i am
wondering if the penis tube that you
urinate from can be connected to the skin
in any way.
i have seen urologists and dermatologists
without any luck and it is driving me
mad.

It would have made sense if you felt pain
when you urinated or ejaculated but, in
your case, it is the opposite. Pathologic
communication between urethra and scrotal
skin (known as FISTULA) also doesn’t
make sense in your case. If you had a
fistula, urine would leak from a hole
placed on the scrotal skin. Because a
dermatologist didn’t detect any skin
disorder, it seems likely to me that your
problem is rather psychiatric than
dermatological or urological.
