Hello all,

First off I'd like to say I am sexually active with one girl now. We both took each others virginity but I had received oral from 2 other girls. One girl I was her first as far as oral goes, and the other was more experienced but is very responsible about getting check ups and screenings every 6 or so months.

Anyways it seems that I fairly frequently get small white bumps on the base of my shaft after sex with my girlfriend. I do not get them if we are not sexually active for a while (like when shes having her period). These bumps are white, are slightly raised, and painful if rubbed. They do break and leave a bump where they were. The swelling goes down and they disappear. Also my scrotum gets irritated and itchy. The last 2 times we've had sex I have washed my genital area right after sex (which ruins the after cuddle haha) with warm water and soap. So far it has worked for me, but if I weren't able to wash after it would be a real pain. Any ideas of what it could be? I don't believe it is an STD, but I suppose I'm not exactly educated in that area either. We don't use a condom, so it isn't an allergic reaction to latex (and don't worry she is on birth control). Any information would be helpful. Thank you.

Please help. My girlfriend wants me to go to the doctor because she is worried about my health. It doesn't seem to be a big deal, just inconvenient. Is it possible that its a bacterial infection perhaps?

Um guys can get friction burns down there...they can cause little white bumps (which are really blisters). Try some lube and see if that doesn't help. About the itchy scrotum, well secretions from both parties can irritate the delicate skin down there. Soap and water after if it helps. I doubt it is an std but it never hurts to get checked.

Thanks for the response. I'll probably get it checked out when school starts. I sort of suspected it was what you suggested really, but I wasn't completely sure.
