Q: Genital abnormalities
asked by: DoctorQuestion on July 15th, 2008
I am 19 years old and I have had small bumps on the shaft of my penis for about 2 years. They do not hurt but their are hairs growing out of them. Recently my testicals have started to hurt. I have had no injury to that area and can feel no lumps. The pain has gotten worse over the past few days. I was wondering if this could be testicular cancer? and if not what other conditions could cause these symptoms.

First of all, it doesn’t seem likely that those bumps on the penis and testicular pain are somehow connected. Those bumps could be warts or another skin disorder.

Testicular tumors (including cancer) are usually painless. They usually become painful when they become infected. Testicular pain is usually due to an infection or trauma.

You may want to consult a urologist about the testicular problem and a dermatovenerologist about the bumps on your penis.
