My family and i just found out my brother has skin cancer from a few moles he had on his body. He's had some skin grafts to remove it and luckily it hasn't spread. I don't no much at that sort of stuff, but i thought about my grandma. she had it as well when she was alive, and i think i have small mole on my shoulder. My sister has them all over her back. Could it be genetic? Should we get checked out?

Hi supremelmp and welcome to ehealth: Yes, you should all be checked out....This also runs in our family and we are all checked by a Dermatologist each year....Take care....
