Had gastric bypass surgery in Dec 05. Have had 3 emergency operations for hernias, twisted bowels and partial obstruction and bowel tearing. After all the surgeries I still have a horrible incapacitating pain in my left side where they stitched my old stomach to my abdomen. Dr. & surgeons say pain is all in my head or my fault for not taking my vitamins daily. I can't take them b/c I throw up too much. I take them when I can. The pain in my left is getting progressively worse and I am barely able to function. Surgeon referred me to pain management, but I have to find a place to go and pay for it. Is there anyone who has this problem and is there anyone in DeLand FL (Orlando,Daytona Beach area) that knows of a pain management clinic that I can go to. Willing to pay for treatment & meds. Desperate.....
