i met the doctor and the doctor do the stomach biopsy due to chronic gastritis. result of biopsy came out and it stated gastric antral mucosa with moderately heavy inviltrate of plasma cells and lymphocytes in the lamina propria stroma, while deep among the antral glands are seen few lymphoids fillicles. few scattered eosinophils are also seen.there is focal intestinal metaplasia with goblets cells. no dysplasia

since i am not a doctor and my doctor is reluctant to explain to me the meaning of the biopsy can you exlain what is the meaning of the biopsy and is it cancerous or lead to caner. how long would it take to be cancerous. can it be cured

the interpretation of my biopsy is moderately severe chronic antral gastritis with focal intestinal metaplasia

Please do not use all CAPS.

Since your doctor will not tell you what all of this means you do have the right to take that report and find a doctor who is able and willing to tell you the truth.

It is my understanding that the interpretation of your bx is that it is not cancer but could lead to such.

Again it is just my understanding after researching but you really need to have a doctor explain this to you.

Is there another doctor within your current doctors practice that could tell you what it means?

I too have chronic gastritis...some days are better than others...
