I am experiencing sudden onset of heartburn type pain which feels like it ia behind the sternum and into the back on the left side. I have mild nausea accompanying quite severe constant pain. Over the counter heart burn tablets have no effect. I have eaten a fatty diet today which is unusual.
The pain feels very similar to when I had gallbladder problems 12 years ago. What could this be and what should I do?
