I had my hidascan test today. Was very worried about the 2nd part of the test - cck injection. I was afraid it would set me into another attack. I am still wrung out from an attack last night and don't have the strength to do it again at this point. I was pleased when the tech told me we didn't have to do the 2nd part. However, 2 different techs asked me the same question - you do still have a gallbladder, right? Ummmm, yeah lol?! They said it doesn't show up for them.
Anyone else have similar results? Does that mean I have 0 function? I won't be able to see my pcp till Monday. I have a surgical consult Thursday.

Hidascan
Hey DOM2009, I don't have much faith in the Hidascan test. I had one done and was told everything looked normal. My pain and symptoms got worse and I was finally told that the Hidascan may not show a bad gallbladder unless you get an injection (not sure what it's called) that imitates a fatty meal intake. I finally saw a surgeon who said my Gallbladder is anything but normal and will be going for surgery on Monday. Good luck.
