My daughter is 16 and has gallstones. Two surgeons recommended she have her gallbladder remove becase of pain. I am unsure which doctor to go with - the pedicatric surgeon or the general surgeon. Any advice?

At the age of 16, your daughter's body should already be very close to what it will be during adulthood. I would, therefore, recommend that you choose the surgeon with the greatest experience in performing this surgery, and in whom you have the most confidence.
