Q: Gallbladder Disease Question

I had a hydascan of the gallbladder on last friday. just got the results from the nurse today she said ejection rate 43% normal. i asked why am i still hurting bad and having nausea? do you think my doctor will recommend me to have gallbladder removal surgery? tired of being sick (2wks) now not able to go to college due to the pain. i had a severe gallbladder infection if dec 2008 put me on keflex got better then all symptoms returned and have gotten worse.

I am assuming that if you truly had an infection in your gallbladder, then you most likely have/had gallstones as the cause (cholelithiasis). If this is true, then you might consider to have your gallbladder removed.
