I have constant right side abdominal pain. I did all the tests including hida and all are normal. In fact hida result was 96 - seemed a little high to me. The doctor would like to do a laproscope to see what's going on inside while planning on removing my GB. I'd rather not remove anything unless we know more surely. Lately I had one of the worst acid reflux attacks ever and I have been feeling close to having more lately. I was once told that a gallbladder can actually push bile up in the wrong direction thus increasing stomach acid, etc. thus causing acid reflux. Is there any validity to this claim? It seems like a viable possibility to me.

Thanks,

JB

Do you have constant upper right side abdominal pain or it's more present after meals?
What's the intensity of pain?
Is it accompanied with nausea and fullness in the stomach?

There is no relationship between acid reflux and gallbladder disease, other than the fact that the diseases can give similar symptoms.
