Q: Gallbladder attack after vaccine

At present I have a case of gallstones whereby the gallstone has left the gallbladder and has become trapped in the tract between it and my liver.

I have become very sensitive to eggs and eating egg will always trigger an attack of gallbladder pain.

Recently I had a flu vaccination in which the medium for the vaccine contains egg. Just after I had an attack of gallbladder pain.

My question is this; does anyone think it is possible that the egg in the vaccine triggered the gallbladder attack or would the dose be too small to make a difference?

It is highly unlikely the vaccine (which is grown in chicken eggs, but actually contains only tiny amounts of actual material from eggs) caused another attack of biliary colic.

It sounds to me like you need to have your gallstones and gallbladder removed by your surgeon....
