i have been experiencing the most awful gallbladder pain every 4-5 days for the last 8 weeks. my doctor has prescribed me buscopan as she feels an anti spasmodic might help while we wait for my ultrasound appointment to come through. i have yet to find any painrelief that helps. can any of you suggest anything to help?

btw i am taking a low fat diet and it seems that losing 2 1/2 stones in 2 months is what triggered this.
thank you !!

The lowfat diet did nothing to help me with symptoms, I ended up eating what I wanted to that didn't bother me-pretty much wraps with roast beef and veggies sat really well for me but everyone is different, (no pizza or sausage though as those two sent me into horrible pain). A heating pad helped with the radiating shoulder pain-I don't think it would be a good idea directly over the gall bladder though, and distraction, trying to keep busy. I know it's not much help to you.
