I am a 37 year old female & had my Gall Bladder removed 15 years ago. For the last 4 years or so i have suffered the exact same pain as i did when i had an attack with gallstones. These attacks usually happen after having a few alcoholic drinks or if i have something fatty but last night it was pineapple that did it. My stomach swells up, the pain is extreme in between my breasts (i guess its my stomach) i sometimes vommit then am left feeling like i have been run over by a truck and am so tired. I have been for an ultrasound and it found everything to be normal, i then had a scope put down to look into my stomach etc for an ulcer only to find nothing!???? Help?

wab73,

You might be having sphincter of Odi dysfunction. This is where the bile duct attaches to the small intestine.

If you continue to have problems, you might ask your physician about it. Good luck.
