Hi,i'm 13 years old. i have always been a worried person, caring to much about others kind of thing. but lately (when i say lately i mean in the last 2 years) my nervousness and anxiety has been so much more intense and some times i just can't deal with it at all, my mom doesn't think that i have an actual problem, she just thinks that i'm not rooted or some thing. i'm sort of scared to talk to a doctor, because i don't know what there gunna say, i mean i have a lot of the symptoms, but no one really takes me seriously, even some of my friends tell me i'm "over reacting" or something, but im not!...i just don't know what to do... Should i take medication or should i live with all my pain and let everyone else not worry about me HELP!

See a doctor. It's not something to get embarrased about. Only a doctor can tell you if something is wrong.

This seems to me like the very beginning of an anxiety disorder, but then again, I'm not a doctor, and I don't have the resources to have a lengthy conversation with you about the specifics that you're going through.

Don't think that going to the doctor is an embarrasing thing to do. It's probably the smartest thing you can do in this situation.

And if your mom thinks there's nothing wrong, and won't act upon anything you are saying, then you need to tell her that she is not being serious enough about this.

Just be nice to her when you tell her. Razz
