When I was around 12 years old I had severe anorexia and dropped down to 50 pounds at my lowest. I had fully recovered by my 13th birthday and was at a healthier 80 pounds (I was very short). Or at least I thought I had recovered... I am now 16 and am realizing that I once again am having major issues with food. I am currently trying to break the cycle of obsessive calorie counting that is truly taking over my life. And recently I have found myself having HUGE binges of all sugary and junk food and then feeling terrible about it. I can be really good and eat healthy for about a week and then I find myself at the bottom of a large tub of ice cream, and it doesn't stop there. My binges usually add up to about 3000 calories. I feel terrible; I just want to be able to eat normally again, but I think I've forgotten how. It's impossible for me to just have that one piece of cake. One bite and I'm a goner; the binge begins. I weigh a pretty healthy 115 pounds but my eating habits are far from healthy. I need help, advice, anything. I'm at a loss of what to do.

I think that is your body fighting against the heavy dieting. I used to be obsessed with food after extreme dieting and my body got used to the food, when I started eating normally I was fine. Just eat regular meals, and you will be ok.

i have problems w/ food too. ive had anorexia my whole life, and in the past year ive started to recover. i also find that now whenever i eat just 1 chip i have to eat the whole bag or if i eat 1 spoonful of frozen lemonade i have to eat the whole container. if i were you i would write down some limits. like no eating after 8 or 9 when the kitchen is closed. or just eating the serving size on the back of the container. Im not gonna lie, its gonna b wayy harder than that. but it might help
